2020 shares now available.

We are proud to be Edmonton’s longest running and only Certified Organic CSA (Community Supported Agriculture).  Our CSA links consumers who want local, fresh, organically grown produce, to a local farmer. Members buy a "Share" in springtime to pay for their summer vegetables.  The “Share” money is then used to purchase seeds and start another growing season at the farm.   Members help the farm share the risk of farming (pestilence and weather) and the rewards of a stellar season.

Shares start early-June and run until mid-October.  The start date will depend on when our crops mature and the end date is weather dependent.  Once the produce is ready in our field it will be picked, washed, boxed, labelled and then transported to the CSA pick-up location on the same day.   This ensures that our produce is at its FRESHEST and is full of vitamins and other nutrients.

In previous years, shares were picked up from one our pick up locations (either Westmount or Strathcona) on Tuesdays.  Then at the pick-up site, sharers would select from a menu board of vegetables available that week.  Each week a different variety of fresh produce will be available.

With the current pandemic, we may change our pick-up policy and are leaning towards starting a delivery service so that our customers are able to continue with social distancing during this time.  As we continue to make decisions regarding our delivery methods we will keep everyone posted.

A full share feeds a family of four people or two vegetarians/vegans for a week.   A typical weekly Share could include: bunched carrots and beets; potatoes; broccoli or cauliflower; kale or chard; onion or leek; lettuces; herbs (parsley, oregano, marjoram, basil, thyme); peas or beans; radish; summer squash; tomato; peppers.

There are two options for payment which can be made either by cheque or e-Transfer.
